2025 in review – a year of growth, partnership and purpose at Health Plus People
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year defined by progress, connection and meaningful impact across Australia’s care sectors.
From expanding into new industries to strengthening long-standing partnerships, this has been a year of building stronger, safer and more supported care environments.
Expanding into early childhood education
One of our most exciting milestones of 2025 has been our official growth into the early childhood sector. With childcare providers across Australia experiencing ongoing staffing pressures, our team stepped in to deliver safe, compliant, fully supported workforce solutions designed for early learning environments.
This year, we’ve placed passionate educators who bring warmth, curiosity and a deep commitment to children’s wellbeing – helping centres maintain consistency, support learning and uphold the highest standards of care. Our expansion into this vital sector reflects our mission of ensuring that every care setting, at every stage of life, has access to the people who make a difference.
A strong year for Registered Nurse placements
2025 has also been a standout year for Registered Nurse (RN) recruitment across aged care, hospital and community settings. Demand for experienced RNs continues to rise nationwide, and we’ve been proud to support facilities by placing nurses who bring not just clinical expertise, but compassion, cultural understanding and the desire to build long-term careers in Australia.
Our support doesn’t end at placement. This year, our team delivered enhanced onboarding, relocation assistance, clinical training pathways and ongoing pastoral care – ensuring every RN has what they need to succeed and every facility has the stability they rely on.
Growing impact through the PALM scheme
Another highlight of 2025 has been the continued growth of our Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) aged care workforce. Workforces built through the PALM scheme have brought exceptional dedication, cultural richness and community spirit to aged care homes across Australia, and the impact has been felt by residents, families and care teams alike.
This year saw increased placements, strengthened partnerships with providers, and more pastoral care support to ensure workers feel safe, welcomed and empowered in every aspect of their new lives. We’re deeply proud to play a part in a program that supports both Australia’s aged care sector and meaningful economic opportunities for workers across the Pacific region.
Looking ahead to 2026
As we move into a new year, our focus remains on safe, compliant recruitment solutions that strengthen care outcomes for communities across Australia.
In 2026, we’ll continue to:
- Grow our early childhood workforce offering
- Continue to invest in technology and systems that make recruitment smarter, faster and safer
- Partner with providers nationwide to deliver consistent, stable workforces.
Across aged care, healthcare, disability support and early learning, we remain committed to connecting the right people with the roles where they can create meaningful change. Thank you to our clients, candidates and partners for an incredible year. We can’t wait to continue the journey with you in 2026.
